Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an environment that was artistic. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw became an international superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. With just three releases she received the title of top female box-office debut worldwide. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
