Zoe-perry

Perry is she is Chicago native who was born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. One of her first TV appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the character. However, her parents did not want her to pursue acting until she became an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry acknowledged that she was not comfortable acting in high school. However, she began performing as a means to connect with new people in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. When she graduated, Perry went to New York to search for television work landing small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent but homesickness brought the actress back to California which is where she discovered acting jobs. Perry was a part of Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In 2015, she was a part of her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry played nine roles in the ABC thriller The Family, in 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. The actress also portrayed in the role of a younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was which is a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. She was cast in the role despite having a close relationship with the character's family.
