In the 1980s she began her acting career and gained notoriety for portraying Siobhan Ryan in the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. She is best known for her performance as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation 2000-13 and Immortality 2015, the TV film which followed.
